Modern slavery statement
Be Specific Consulting Ltd is committed to conducting business in a fair and responsible manner. We take a zero-tolerance stance on slavery and human trafficking, and we expect our suppliers and business partners to do the same.
We are a UK AI consultancy working with investment and knowledge-work firms, regulated businesses, and companies building AI.
We may be below the turnover threshold for a mandatory statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We publish this statement because that commitment should be universal.
We will not tolerate abuse of human rights, modern slavery, human trafficking, or child, forced, bonded or compulsory labour or servitude, by our suppliers or business partners, or in their supply chains.
We and our suppliers must comply with applicable laws, and must not charge workers recruitment fees, retain their identity documents, require compulsory overtime, restrict their freedom of movement or association or their right to leave employment, discriminate, or use threats, violence or harassment. Anyone affected should have access to remedy.
In agreeing to supply us with goods or services, or in entering a business relationship with us, a supplier or partner commits to adopting and promoting these values in their own business and supply chain. If you cannot adhere to them, contact hello@bespecific.co.uk. Continuing the relationship is acceptance of this commitment.
We are a small consultancy, and we expect fair treatment of the people we work with and of anyone we engage. Questions about this statement are welcome at the same address.
