This website is operated by Be Specific Consulting Ltd, registered in England and Wales at 5th Floor, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF. We are the data controller for any personal data described here.

What we collect

The site runs no analytics and no advertising tracking. We process personal data only in two situations:

Email correspondence. If you email us at hello@bespecific.co.uk, we use your message and email address to respond and to carry on the conversation. We keep it only as long as that requires.

Mailing list. If you subscribe to our updates, we collect your email address and a record of your consent. We use double opt-in: you will receive a confirmation email and are only added to the list after you click to confirm. We use Brevo (Sendinblue SA, France) to store subscriber data and send emails. We send occasional updates about AI adoption and what we are learning. We never share your email address with anyone else. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by emailing hello@bespecific.co.uk.

To stop automated sign-ups, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser to tell a person from a script, and we limit how many times one IP address can submit the form each minute. This information is used for that check only.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which may log requests (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes under its own policies.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and you can object to or restrict our use of it. Email hello@bespecific.co.uk and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
